I love Pret, the concept is fresh, tasty, healthy and convenient; and the one in the London City Airport for the ease of location really hits the spot. I don't worry about needing to buy food for the flight home or my dinner for my late arrival into LCY because thanks to Pret!
I like the little snack portions of protein egg with spinach, or a larger, healthy choice of tuna/crayfish salad; but my absolute favorite of why I come here is for the delicious Hoisin Duck Wrap. it is to die for if you are a duck fan, and even if you sort of like duck (which is me), this wrap is delicious because it's so flavorful it makes you think about it before you are even hungry!
Well done to Pret for this LCY location - never leave! -

This largely self-service place in LCY is a good spot to have a sandwich and a coffee before you go through security or while you're waiting on someone to arrive. The food is decent, the coffee is OK and the service is good. The prices are relatively reasonable. The seating area is small so it might be a struggle to find a place to sit. But it makes a convenient snacking/lunch point when you're at LCY.

Better than most airport coffee chains. Pretty good selection of freshly made salads, sandwiches and pastries and the coffee was pretty decent. Reasonably priced considering its an airport.
Charge you extra for eating in same as costa which bugs me. Its a small enough area and given people with cases its hard to get a seat. -

This Pret (landside) has a good selection of healthy options before check-in. I am never sure what the rules on carrying food through security so I don't do it; Pret is a good stop before you head through if you need a more nourishing goodie to sustain your flight.
I only go to Pret very occasionally, so I can't really comment if the range is normal, but it did seem a little on the pricey side. I like that they have things like protein pots and fruit salads, and everything is clearly labelled so that you know what it contains. -

PRET: only good if you are at an airport.
So, this one fits the bill at my beloved LCY. Here's the thing, the first time you try Pret you are all like "wow, this shit is excellent! Where have you been all my life!?" And then you eat that crab pot or some duck hoisin wrap approximately 342x after that and the honeymoon is over, it's not that good. Also, I'm sorry -- their coffee is THE WORST. Like drinking stale cigarette water, no joke.
It's totally fine for food and sparkling water and stuff like that. At an airport.
This particular one is BEFORE security at LCY (if you are departing) -- and it's a good bet to grab some (non liquid) snacks before heading in because the options inside are pretty lacking (Panopolis I shake my head at you feverishly). Also, if you are landing it's the first thing you see as you exit customs (well, that and 52 private drivers with dry erase boards). It's fine for that, too if you need a quick bite before braving the commute home.
It is not fine when there are any other options like in a real city. At an airport, Ok. Trust me guys, it's the truth. There are better places to eat, but not usually at an airport -- so 3 stars.
